This is a focused evening talk on interventional coronary cardiology, designed to give a comprehensive walkthrough of the full procedural spectrum — from the basics of diagnostic angiography to advanced techniques such as bifurcation stenting, calcium modification, left main intervention, and CTO crossing. The session distills concepts typically covered across a full hands-on simulation program into a concise, high-yield clinical overview, relevant for trainees at every stage of their interventional journey.

Module 2: Guide Wire
  • Selection, handling, and manipulation of coronary guidewires
Module 3: Guide Catheter
  • Catheter selection and engagement techniques for coronary access
Module 4: Specialty Balloons
  • Use of specialty balloons in lesion preparation and complex anatomy
Module 5: Stents
  • Principles of stent selection, deployment, and optimization
Module 6: Covered Stents
  • Role of covered stents in perforation and emergency management
Module 7: Rotablation
  • Rotational atherectomy for heavily calcified coronary lesions
Module 8: Bifurcations
  • Approach and techniques for bifurcation lesion intervention
Module 9: Thrombotic Lesions and STEMI
  • Management strategies for thrombotic lesions and acute STEMI
